Urban greenery has a positive effect on the microclimate, hydrology and soil quality, and it reduces overall pollution. It has a beneficial effect on the population and ultimately on the urban environment as a whole. It is in city parks and gardens where greenery is enjoyed the most.

City Park

This is an open space used mainly for relaxing and walking. It is intended for the general public and has a relaxational and recreational function. It should include seating areas, sports areas, playgrounds, refreshment facilities and nature trails. Improving the quality of housing by building city parks also improves the overall character of the environment and quality of life.

City Garden

This is a garden filled with fruit trees, vegetable beds, herbs and space for children. Currently, the city maintains one garden – the Prüger-Wallner Garden – which is well attended. Gradually we would like to make more similar spaces available.
