Trolleybus Track Train Station - Patrónka - Riviéra

2. Activity: Plan of organisation of public transportation – modernisation of trolleybus track in the section: Patrónka – Kramáre – Main Station

The activity is based on the preparation of documentation of the Plan of organisation of public transportation, which will start during the implementation of project works and will serve as base material for the tendering process for the construction works provider.

1. Activity: New trolleybus line: Patrónka – Riviéra, which aims to connect the separate trolleybus track system in the Dlhé diely estates with the other trolleybus tracks up to the Main Station. The goal is to connect the systems at the crossing of Valašská – Mlynská dolina and the crossing of Pri Habánskom mlyne – Mlynská dolina.
2. Activity: Modernisation of trolleybus track in the section: Patrónka – Kramáre – Main Station, with its goal being the complex modernisation of the trolleybus track in the section: Patrónka – Kramáre – Main Station, constructing a new track in the turning facility of the Main Station, and modernisation of the switching facilities of Lešková and Hroboňová.

The complete project documentation represents the optimal solution for construction of the new trolleybus lines, as well as modernisation of the trolleybus track and of the switching facilities. In the next step, the recipient plans to perform construction works according to the project documentation as prepared, and to meet other goals, increasing the efficiency of public transport in the affected locations of Bratislava. The proposed project is in line with the intervention logic of OP II programme, Priority Axis 3 – Public passenger transport, Specific Target: 3.1 Increasing the popularity of public passenger transport by modernisation and reconstruction of IDS and city track transportation infrastructure.
